We were sent a Bubble Bum Booster seat to try out & I have one to giveaway too! Bubble Bum is an inflatable, light weight, compact & easily storable booster seat for children aged 4 – 11 years old.
Anyone with kids knows what a struggle bringing booster seats on holidays can be. Or how hard it is to fit multiple car seats together in the back seat of the car. Bubble Bum has found the solution to these problems!
How Bubble Bum Works
Bubble Bum is a backless booster seat, suitable for children over the age of 4 years old. When it’s deflated, it can be rolled up & stored in its carry bag. It’s easy to inflate Bubble Bum with a few puffs of air. Once inflated, Bubble Bum is super lightweight & compact.
Three Bubble Bum seats could fit together easily in the back seat of a car. They are easy to inflate & deflate making them excellent for bringing on holidays, in taxis or storing when the seat isn’t in use.
Our Experience with Bubble Bum
We picked the Shamrock booster seat from the Bubble Bum Patriot range. They also have the Union Jack & Stars and Stripes seats in the Patriot range.

Inflating & Deflating Bubble Bum
Inflating the Bubble Bum was super easy. There is a valve on the side that you twist to open the vent, then blow air in. It was full after a couple of puffs then I screwed the air valve closed again. And voila, the seat was ready to roll!
It is nice & puffy when it’s inflated. It’s extremely lightweight & much smaller than our current booster seat.
Deflating is also as simple as opening the valve & squeezing out the air. The Bubble Bum rolls up & fits nicely into its stretchy carry bag.
Installing Bubble Bum in your Car
Installation is also very simple. As you can see, the seat is quite petite in the car. My daughter loved how comfy it is to sit on! The seat belt passes through the two red clips on either side of the Bubble Bum. There is a shoulder strap positioning strap that hooks on the bottom of the booster seat & then onto the shoulder strap to hold the seat belt in the correct position, for shorter children.
The Bubble Bum really is an innovative car seat! It’s super lightweight, easy to use, compact & looks great too. It’d be ideal for family travel, taxi trips or for fitting multiple booster seats in the car.
