Regular readers know that our summer plans took a sharp turn when our son fell and was put in a full leg cast. We spent most of the summer at home with a few day trips here and there. We haven’t been away since our Family Road Trip in May 2017 from West Cork to Waterford so a holiday is badly needed! 🙂
So when the opportunity to go away for a week this October cropped up, we were thrilled to take it! I will tell you more about the trip details in a few weeks time, it’s a surprise for now!
With the upcoming sun holiday in mind, Monsoon were lovely enough to send me some new clothes to enjoy the hot weather. We haven’t been on a sun holiday in years so I could do with some new pieces.
The items arrived nicely package and the quality of each is superb. The fabrics are soft and beautiful. All of the pieces are comfortable and easy to wear – just what I love in beach clothing.
Monsoon Beach Clothing
I picked 5 beachy items from Monsoon: two lovely flowy dresses, one pair of shorts and two tops.
It’s 6 degrees here at the moment and I simply can’t bring myself to take photos of myself wearing the clothes. So for this post I will be showing you the clothing on the hanger and folded. But stay tuned on my Instagram and upcoming holiday posts in October so you can see how cute and comfy the clothing is on!
The red shorts are seriously the cutest and comfiest shorts ever. And the white top is ideal for the beach. The top on the bottom right I adore and I think it’d also be cute with a pair of jeans and a blazer.
That’s the two Monsoon beachy dresses that I chose, I borrowed these photos from the website so you can see how the dresses sit. They will be ideal for looking nice during the day both on and off the beach. They are flowy and light which is what I like in summer clothing.
I’m delighted with the quality and feel of the fabrics. And the little details like the tassels on the dresses and shorts and the cut of the tops makes them look beautiful and more dressy on.
I am getting ready for the beach with these beautiful items, I can’t wait to get going now!!
