My kids really love being creative & learning through play. So we were delighted when Mysteries in Time contacted me about a review! Mysteries in Time is an exciting subscription service geared towards kids aged 7 – 11. Each month a time machine box arrives with fun activities which take place during a period of history. Each month features a new time in history.
The characters, Max & Katie, go back through time, solving mysteries. There are two types of monthly packages. The Classic pack & the Bumper Box. For both options, each month the subscription box contains:
A fun story book
History booklet
Puzzles & activities
Themed bookmark
Stickers
Three colouring pages
Colouring pencils
Timeline sticker
Sent in a personalized time machine box
The Bumper Box also includes crafts & a toy both which are themed to the period of history. The first box includes a huge world map & timeline which is used for every subscription box you receive.

The first subscription box is Ancient Egypt. As you can see above, it is fun to colour in & play with the time machine box itself. The Ancient Egypt box includes the large map above which is also used for all future subscription boxes. Here’s what arrived in our Ancient Egypt box…
We received three bumper boxes for purposes of this review so each month one my three kiddies had a box to themselves. All three enjoyed having a magic time machine arrive through the letter box & opening it to find lots of fun crafts & activities. I’d definitely recommend the Mysteries in Time Bumper Box as my kids really enjoyed the arts & crafts aspect of the subscription. Although our daughter is only 3 she really enjoyed the activities in her subscription box.

We really enjoyed each box & the adventure & fun that came packed inside each story, craft & toy. There is fun & learning to be had for all!
