Happy February! It’s a new month and that means it’s time for a new positivity challenge!
January’s 3-day challenge went so well. I had wonderful feedback from my positivity community members. I put the quotes and messages from the challenge together into a blog post. If you missed it, you can read it here: 3 Day Positivity Challenge. It’s set up in a way that you can follow it at home any time you want to add some positivity!
Taking a positivity challenge or no complaints challenge for the first time makes us aware of our thoughts and feelings. The more challenges we take, the more we learn and the more we can control those thoughts and feelings.
Put Yourself Out There
Putting yourself out there, past the usual, past that comfort zone is where exciting things happen! Great changes can come, like a new positive mindset!
Being Positive is Overcoming the Negative
When I first began my positivity journey I found myself trying to ignore or stuff down the negative thoughts and feelings. And being totally honest, I blew up. I blew up in temper and I got sick too. My body just exploded basically it couldn’t take holding all of that in.
I’ve learned since, that being positive means you learn how to deal with the negative things that come your way. You don’t ignore them, you don’t ignore your feelings but you learn how to manage them in a positive and loving way.
As the old classic quote says – life is about learning to dance in the rain. We can’t make the storm go away, we can’t wait for it to pass, we need to make the best of it!
One of my positivity community members summed it up so nicely when she said:
I’ve not removed my sea of challenges, I’ve just learned to swim through them gracefully.
Love Yourself
Making positivity part of your life is a wonderful thing to do for yourself. Loving and honoring ourselves is so important. Taking care of ourselves, saying no when we can’t do anymore, resting when we need to, recognizing what’s not good for us and setting boundaries are all ways we can love ourselves.
I’d love to have you join in my next positivity challenge. You can get the most updated quotes and messages in my Positivity Community on Facebook. I also share on my main Facebook page & other social media accounts – you can get links to follow below. And, I’ll be sharing the challenge here in a blog post.
The challenge starts on Thursday 8th February 2018. I hope to see you there. x

Good luck with the new challenge and I think everyone thinks of you as a positive person in the blogging community. I think so positively now and it was not always that way and you are so right about it being OK to have appropriate feelings when bad stuff happens. I found that quite scary as I emerged from depression and then realised that people who don’t have mental health issues have bad days and it doesn’t mean you are hurtling back to the bad old days necessarily – it is just a bad day that will pass. #BloggerClubUK
I’m a big believer in positive thinking. It might not be for everyone, but it’s certainly helpful for me x

I think that is such an important point – that positivity is not about ignoring the negative but learning how to deal with it. Keeping it all bottled up isn’t good for anyone! #BloggerClubUK
Let’s continue to spread positivity where we go. Thanks for this reminder.
I’ll be there, possibly not very actively but I’ll be there! #bloggerclubuk
The quotes here certainly resonate and I love that someone in your group came up with their own.#BloggerClubUK
