We had a relaxing and chilled out Christmas holidays this year. The kids were home for two full weeks and went back to school yesterday. I loved having them at home but at the same time, it’s good to get back into a routine.
I took the two weeks off from the blog for the most part. I did keep up with some social media and launched a campaign about safety in the home with Fairy Non Bio (ad). Besides that, I left Cuddle Fairy aside and enjoyed some quality family time.
It really was a chilled out Christmas. We enjoyed Christmas day as a family of five. We had roast beef, potato & veg for dinner. We went to my sister in law’s for St. Steven’s day celebrations. And we had the family to ours for New Year’s Eve.
Besides the few parties, our Christmas was filled with lazy days and frosty walks.
This Christmas holiday marks the first time I’ve had a lay-in since having kids! It was glorious lol Our youngest is four, she will turn 5 in February. And she decided to have some relaxed mornings herself which let me sleep in or even read a book in bed. It’s like a whole new world!
We played board games, watched family movies and generally enjoyed each other’s company. I will show you some of the photos from our frosty walks!
Yesterday I published a review of 2017 with Cuddle Fairy’s 2017 stats & goals for 2018. I’m feeling positive and looking forward to the year ahead!

I’d love to hear about your Christmas holidays in the comments. x
I love a frosty walk in the icy cold. It’s one of my favourite things about being a postman! As long as there’s no rain involved!
I am such a fan of low-key holidays, I think they really are the best. Yours sounds like it was amazing! #BloggerClubUK
It sounds perfect! We were entertaining relatives which is lovely but exhausting! Love your photos. #bloggerclubuk
Ah this looks and sounds perfect, and your photos are gorgeous. Well done on taking a very much deserved break as well. Claire x #BloggerClubUK
Aww it sounds like you’ve had an amazing Christmas – board games and having a break is what Christmas is all about 🙂 #BloggerClubUK
Looks like that you had a wonderful Christmas.
Sounds like a gorgeous family Christmas to me! Love your pics #bloggerclubuk
Aw your dog is cute! ☺️ sounds like a lovely Christmas. Having a baby 4 days before Xmas meant ours was different! We kept it quiet so that I could recover and wasn’t too overwelmed but we still got to see family over the holidays which I liked. #BloggerClubUK
Those frosty walks look lovely! We were somewhat stuck in the city but we have a natural hill with spectacular views for Christmas walks. #bloggerclubuk
Sounds like you had a great Christmas break. I was just at home with the family, spending some quality time. All the best for 2018.

Now that sounds like a blissful Christmas, pretty much like ours I have to say! I totally love a frosty walk with my family. And I love how that sheep is randomly walking down the road! Thanks for hosting #bloggerclubuk
It’s lovely to get a lie in in the morning. Hubby and our youngest appear to be the early risers here. #BloggerClubUK
