My poor sitting room has been in desperate need of a freshen up. I’d love to change everything in that room so getting to pick some new art from Desenio really was ideal to give the room a whole new, modern, fresh look.
I love the simplicity of Scandi style as it fits in with the clean lines we have in our house. The new art from Desenio has brought a stylish new look to the sitting room with stunning pieces from their site! It has totally changed the feel of the room!
First off, let me tell you a bit about Desenio! At Desenio, you will find Scandinavia’s widest range of posters along with frames, hangers, picture ledges and clips. The Desenio website has so many options of designs, frames and sizes it really was fun to design my new wall of art!
The Desenio Experience
The Desenio website is divided out nicely into lots of categories to make shopping easy. You can browse by print type such as nature, quotes, floral, etc. Or look by size, style or new arrivals. Frames are also divided out by size, colour and materials.
My favourite part of the website is the inspiration rooms, which again are divided out in categories such as living room, kitchen, kids room and so on. The inspiration rooms show several pieces of art hung together. The stylists at Desenio choose the most beautiful combinations which really inspired me!
You have the option to click buy gallery wall and then customize which sizes and prints you want from there. Or you can simply buy it just as it exactly as it appears on the website.
The inspiration section makes it easy to get an idea of what pieces look nice together and that helped me get an idea of colours and shapes that would complement one another.
You can simply buy the full look of the inspiration room if you love it and want a quick, easy and stylish design. For me, I went the long route of handpicking each piece and figuring out the size and placement I wanted. I wrote out the final measurements and placement I wanted on a post-it note and felt like a proper interior designer. But I never would have come up with our design without the inspiration walls to look through! They really are fabulous.
I really enjoyed my shopping experience. I selected each item and frame to suit it and the site saved everything to the basket. The correct size frames to choose from automatically come up after you select a poster to make it a really easy and enjoyable shopping trip!
My New Art from Desenio Arrives
The new art & frames arrived in a large box. The prints were in a flat envelope and the frames packaged beneath them. Everything arrived in perfect condition!

Hanging my new art
My husband got the job of hanging the art to my post-it note specifications. lol He did a terrific job. I’m thrilled with how the wall looks and how the frames line up so beautifully together!
I feel so happy every time I look at my new all. It has a light, airy and happy feel to it and it has made such a great difference to the room too! I’m thrilled with both the quality and look of my new art from Desenio. I never would have come up with a design like this anywhere else and I couldn’t be happier with it.
