I was sent the bean bag for review purposes, all opinions are my own
Years ago my two boys got bean bag chairs from Santa. They lasted less than a year and died a terrible death with little beans all over the house. They weren’t that comfy and certainly weren’t nicely made. They had a very thin cloth lining which easily burst open. What I learned quickly from that experience is that quality really counts when it comes to choosing your bean bag chair.
When Bean Bag Bazaar got in touch with me, I was quite happy to try one of their faux fur bean bags to review and see what the difference is between their bean bags and the inexpensive ones we owned in the past. Plus, they are letting me run a giveaway for one of you to win a bean bag (see the bottom of this post for details).
Variety
First off, there is a huge variety of bean bags on Bean Bag Bazaar. They come in different sizes and shapes to suit adults and kids. Some have backs shaped in them and some are your more traditional looking bean bag.
The faux fur range comes in a lovely variety of colours, sizes and shapes. Right now they are on sale with really big savings pre-Christmas.
I went with the ICON Arctic Wolf Faux Fur bean bag, in an adult size.
Delivery
The bean bag arrived in a huge box! It arrived really quickly which is great, and oftentimes living in Ireland packages can take a bit longer to get here. So I was really pleased with the speed of delivery and how nicely the bean bag was packaged.
If you are looking at this for a Christmas gift, the good news is it is packaged in a discreet plain brown box.
Quality
The first thing that struck me when unboxing the bean bag was the great range of colour shades. It looks so realistic with lighter and darker tones, it looks like real fur.
The thickness of the bag itself is really great and is a huge difference from the thin cloth bags we owned in the past. The Bean Bag Bazaar bag is really thick and durable.
I like that there is a panel at the bottom that allows the bean bag to sit nicely & not slip on the floor, There is also a circle shape at the top as you can see in the photo above. It gives the bean bag a nice shape, rather than being just a loose bag. This bean bag has a bit of form to it which is really nice for sitting on.
It’s such a large bean bag that it’s super comfy even for me as an adult. I feel supported and well above the ground. It will be ideal for cosy nights in by the fire!! As you will see below, I’m quite comfy on my new bean bag! Also, the faux fur is super soft to the touch and really lovely to sit on.
