Fashion is forever changing and shifting. And what is in style is often a reflection of our culture and what we consider to be desirable at the time. When I was in school, someone who dressed like a 'geek' would have been considered to be uncool or not stylish. In contrast, the look now is in fashion, and it is quite cool and on-trend to have a geek-chic style. And it is trendy to be nerdy meaning intelligent, educated and successful. Well, it's about time, isn't it?!

Own The Basics
The geek style celebrates clothes that were considered to be nerdy like glasses, blazers, ties and nerdy button up shirts. Most of us have these items or some of these in our wardrobe so you don't have to go out buying much to achieve the look. You can get the few basics and then use what you already own as well.
Mix and Match Colours
You can bring your own personal style to the look by putting items together that don't 'match' in the classic sense. Forget about clashing patterns or colours that glare off each other - this is on trend, put them together and get a unique look!
Graphic T-Shirts

Add a Blazer
You can top off your look nicely with the addition of a blazer. Unlike other fashions out there, the blazer does not need to match and in fact, it is better if it doesn't!

Adding some accessories can really make the look complete. Consider some glasses. If you don't need a prescription you can get clear lenses. Other fun accessories are ties and suspenders. Or add a sachel bag or Tactical Backpacks to the look. Or go wild and add all of these!
