I attended my very first blogger event last year in Galway. I thoroughly enjoyed myself but felt a little awkward that I didn’t have business cards to hand out when others did. So, I decided to order myself some cards before I attended any other events. I only ordered a few from an inexpensive online site because I didn’t know what they would turn out like.
I’m delighted to be preparing to attend Brit Mums Live in June. One of the things on the top of my to-do list is to order new business cards. This time around I had a better idea of how I wanted them to look. And, because it’s a really important event, I want a great quality card.

I stuck with the same design that I made last year using Canva. But this time, I went for a slick matt finish which looks so much nicer than the gloss finish I ordered the first time around. Officially the finish is called “350gsm silk with matt laminate on both sides.”
I have to say that the quality of the cards is fabulous. I love the shape of the cards & the slick matt finish. They turned out gorgeous. Cuddle Fairy is looking so lovely & ready to network in London!
On the front of cards there is my website name, my name, email address, blog url & top 3 social media network addresses. I had the backside printed with my Cuddle Fairy logo & my motto – positivity around every corner.
Having a business card as a blogger is really professional, rather than writing your contact details on a piece of paper or sending it later via email. Great, well designed and printed business cards make a fantastic first impression & they also act as a great icebreaker. Business Cards put your brand & your name directly into the hands of your readers, clients & peers & also builds brand awareness.
