My daughter adores role playing that she is a mommy and taking care of her baby dolls. Sometimes her brothers join her in the games. As you know I am a big fan of imaginative play. I think role play is one of the best ways for kiddies to learn and to develop their creativity and imaginations.
With that in mind, we were over the moon when we were asked to review the brand new Baby Annabell doll! AND I have one of the new dolls to giveaway to one of you lovely readers! Details about the giveaway are at the bottom of this review.
NEW Baby Annabell’s Features
The New Baby Annabell Doll is just like a real baby! She has realistic baby sound effects and cute little movements, making her so much fun to take care of. This new version of Baby Annabell can wet her nappy or use her potty! She also has cute baby talk and cries as well as sucks her bottle or pacifier with real sounds and movements. My daughter & I were both blown away with the way Baby Annabell’s mouth moves up and down like she’s really sucking her bottle!
Baby Annabell also cries real tears, burps, yawns and falls asleep. She isn’t a light doll which makes her feel more like a real baby to hold. She’s very well made with a soft body & plastic arms and legs.

Our Thoughts
Well, it’s clear to see how much my daughter adores her new Baby Annabell. She brings her up to bed with her. Before bedtime, she gives Baby Annabell her pacifier to suck & she falls asleep. I help my daughter with the pacifier as she is 4 & finds it difficult to push the pacifier in far enough to create the sucking sound. I’m sure that will get easier with age & practice.
My daughter brings her around & outside the house in her buggy or shopping cart. The new Baby Annabell fits into the old Baby Annabell’s accessories which is great. The outfit she comes in is super soft & cuddly.
She feels like a real baby to take care of because she drinks, burps, cries and has wees in her diaper or potty. And because of her weight, it’s like holding a newborn.
All of her accessories make playtime fun like putting on her bib before giving Baby Annabell her bottle. And the little pendant with a photo of Baby Annabell is precious. My daughter loves that!
The new Baby Annabell is by far the most engaging and realistic doll we own. She gets two thumbs up from us.
