Welcome to another installment of My Week at a Glance! Summer has finally arrived in Ireland this week. We hit 20c which is like a tropical heatwave here. My boys had Sports Day at their school. My daughter and I went to watch them. They had such a wonderful time. We’ve been outside playing a lot and soaking up the sun. I’m so glad we did because the grey clouds are back again today.
Starting at the top left, going clockwise – I wrote a post about my new Wolford Layla Capri Leggings. I am beyond impressed with them, they are so comfy and stylish! For #foodpornthursdays I shared two of my favourite Summer Cocktails with Vodka recipes. I was feeling in the summer mood! 🙂 My daughter remembered having a temporary tattoo on her hand last month and I was delighted when she asked for one – because we are working on encouraging her speech & language on a daily basis. It was really great communication on her part. She pointed to her hand and said flower. I knew exactly what she meant! Center photo is my new summer shoes – so the sun better come back! Bottom left is my daughter and I enjoying a DVD & popcorn.
I was delighted to receive a tweet on Monday that I have moved up to #18 on the Parent Blogger Leaderboard. Fingers, arms & legs crossed that I can keep my lovely new number. I’m thrilled to be in the top 20! I’m in amazing company there.
