So, guys, I am writing my very first gift guide! I know it’s a thing bloggers do but I just never got into it. BUT I feel inspired to write one for dolls because my daughter adores her dollies.

I think a doll is a fabulous Christmas gift. There’s such excitement unwrapping a new doll!! With that in mind, I have a fabulous musical Elsa doll up for grabs, details on the giveaway are at the bottom of this post.

Dolls are a great gift for girls or boys. It’s a shame that packaging is usually pink and “for girls.” Dolls are a wonderful way for all kids to role play being a mom or dad. And to learn and show love and compassion. So don’t let the branding stop you or your kiddies from enjoying a doll.

Some of these dolls were sent to us for review over the past few years, and some we bought ourselves. I am ONLY including dolls we genuinely love. I’ve not accepted any of these dolls to appear in this guide, they are really and truly the dolls we love, would buy ourselves or recommend to a friend. And one is a dolly my daughter has on her Christmas list because Christmas isn’t complete without a new dolly.

I’ve included links to my reviews and have included any YouTube unboxings we have done if you’d like more details on any of the dolls listed. I hope you find them helpful.

Many of these dolls provide positive examples to kiddies, which I’ve noted below. So here we go! Our favourite dollies…

Baby Annabell

Baby Annabell recently launched a new and improved dolly. She is really realistic, her mouth moves and she can actually suck a bottle then wet her nappy. She’s heavy so she feels like a real-life baby in my daughter’s arm. You can read our Baby Annabell Review here.

Lottie

I was thrilled to become a Lottie Doll Ambassador this year, we have been sent some complimentary Lottie dolls to review to add to our Lottie collection. What I love about Lottie is that the dolls look like real life boys and girls. They promote a positive body image for kids and they have a lot of new Lottie’s and some new friends like Mia & Sophia, Lottie’s sister. The packaging is gender neutral and there are two boy dolls to choose from – Sammy & Finn. Read my Lottie review here.

Lalaloopsy

“We’re Lalaloopsy” is a fun and encouraging show on Netflix that teaches kids to be unique and happy with who they are. They have a new range of dolls out now with real hair. The dolls can also sit down which is a big plus as my daughter sits her Lalaloopsy down next to her while she draws or sits at the table.

Moana

Moana sets a fabulous example for girls. She’s the heroine of the movie and is empowered. It’s lovely to see an inspired and powerful Disney princess. The Adventure Collection includes Maui & Moana’s little animal friends too.

Elsa

Disney Frozen Play-A-Melody Gown

My daughter is Elsa mad. She loves all things Frozen – dolls, clothing, her coat… you name it! So Christmas for her would not be complete without an Elsa doll. She has this one (Disney Frozen Play-A-Melody Gown) on her gift list from Santa, you can press her dress to play music. Anna & Elsa are great role models for independent princesses who are also heroines. My daughter gives them two thumbs up.

Lil Cutesies Bathtub

Lil Cutesies Bathtub

These two are so adorable in their little bathtub. When you fill the bath with water and press the pump then water comes out of the faucet. It’s a fun and interactive toy that is well loved in my house. The dolls arms and legs are poseable and they are small, which is perfect for little hands to hold.
