Yup, you read that right – I am a BiB Award finalist for 2016!!!! Ahhhhhh! I am still jumping around my house four hours after receiving the amazing news!
I woke up at 5am & tried to sleep until 6. It felt like Christmas morning, wondering if Santa was going to come! I came downstairs at 6 & anxiously awaited the 6:30pm announcement. Happily it was right on time. I received the nicest email from the Brit Mums team congratulating me on being a finalist. Then the jumping began!
I have a permanent smile on my face today as I keep thinking about the fact that I am a finalist – ME! I am so full of joy today! I feel really proud & delighted to be recognised by such a prestigious award. Despite everyone telling me it’s not too early to crack open the prosecco, I haven’t started the party – mostly due to school runs & not having any prosecco in the house (yet).
In case you missed my earlier posts, there were thousands of bloggers considered for the Brit Mums Brilliance in Blogging (BiB) awards. A short list of 10 bloggers was made for each of the 12 categories. I received some exciting news a few weeks back – that I was shortlisted for a BiB award in the Inspire category. I was over the moon excited to be on the shortlist!
Voting then turned over to the public to help the judges pick five finalists in each category. Thanks to your voting, Cuddle Fairy is now a finalist in the inspire category!!! Woohoo!! Thank you soooo very much to everyone who voted for me. And thank you so much to everyone who has supported my blog here & on social media!

I thought I was overexcited about meeting everyone in London for Brit Mums Live but now that I’m a finalist I am over the moon excited for this! It’s the best feeling!
