My First Impressions of the App

As you know I am big into my healthy and organic eating and healthy lifestyle. But unfortunately, I have been slack about adding exercise back into my life since having kids. I have tried a few different programs but haven’t stuck with one. So when got in touch about trying out their fitness app I was excited to give it a try.

So, that’s what we did! I used the app for one week and have really enjoyed it. So in this post, I am going to tell you about my first impressions of the app. I will be using the app for the next 4 weeks and will report back with a more detailed post about how I am finding it and if I have lost any weight and hopefully gained some muscle.

Getting Started

It’s fast and simple to get started with You begin by answering some super easy questions like your gender, age, weight and what your goal is – either to lose weight or sculpt muscles.

From there, helps you decide on your goal weight and they design a diet and exercise plan just for you. They give you a lot of options as how much variety and time you want to spend with your cooking so the plan is truly customized just for you.

Clients can truly customize their food plan based on their lifestyle and eating habits. There are options if you are vegan, vegetarian or allergic to certain foods and there’s an option to exclude certain foods. The app quickly generates a menu just for you!

Your app is then ready to roll. It’s not an app you have to download, it’s accessible right online via your phone or any other device.

MonacoFit app

Diet & Exercise is your one-stop shop – they give you everything you need, just like a personal trainer would. They give you 3 meals a day plus one snack and various exercises. doesn’t want their clients to worry about counting and comparing the number of calories – instead, they have prepared a full program package for them that takes care of fully planned daily meals with a healthy amount of calories. The meals are listed with ingredients needed and how to prepare them.

The exercises are easy to follow with warm ups and cool downs before and after. Paula goes through each exercise movement in a video and there is also text below the video so they are very easy to understand and follow.

You stay accountable by ticking “I ate” or “I exercised” after completing each segment of your day. With the paid version of the app, you have a nutritionist there at your fingertips that you can ask questions! They can advise you of tasty alternatives or snacks if you have a food craving or want the diet plan adjusted.

The recipes have been delicious and very healthy. They are easy to follow and are all really colourful and full of healthy ingredients.

My First Impressions of

I signed up to with the idea of losing some weight and toning up. They came back with a recommended weight for me and a program of food and exercise tailored specifically for me based on the questions I answered.

I have found the app very easy to use. The recipes have been delicious and very healthy. I have found the exercises a little challenging because I have not been exercising regularly. But they are very easy to follow and each movement is carefully explained which is really great.

There is a nice variety in exercise and in the meals so each day has been new and enjoyable.

I am looking forward to using over the coming weeks. I will document my progress and take photos of some of the meals. So when I report back to you I am hoping to have some great results!
