With Christmas right around the corner, the eternal question will be asked by every woman standing in her closet – “what am I going to wear?!” Despite there being hangers full of clothing, when a night out comes up, magically there is nothing to wear. I like to buy something new for my Christmas nights out. I feel more confident about how I look in a new outfit & it solves the what am I going to wear dilemma.
This post is in collaboration with Lyst, a fashion website that makes online shopping so much fun. They have a huge directory of designer clothing, shoes, bags, accessories & jewelry for men & women all in one place. If you see something you’d like to buy, Lyst takes you to the items website to make the purchase.
The best part about Lyst is it allows you to fully customize your shopping experience by making your own lists or lysts if you will. Lyst makes it easy to shop by designer or item. When you find things you like, you simply click “+lyst it” to add it to one of your lysts. It makes creating a look so easy when you can see each item together in one place! Your lyst is saved so if you come back a few days later to make a purchase, all of the items you liked are there waiting for you in your lysts.
I created a “Christmas Party Looks” lyst & easily designed two outfits that I’d love to wear for a night out. This is my first look. I think it’s fun & trendy for a night out on the town.
Romper by Diane Von Fursternburg – Tuta Pizzo Dvf Purdette Lace, on sale for £263.
Heels by Dior – Court, £334.
Necklace by Lara Bohinc – Apollo long necklace, £346.
Clutch by Nina – Logan Clutch, £42.
I’ve always adored Dvf clothing. Before moving to Ireland, I worked in contemporary department of Nieman Marcus & loved dressing my clients. I could live vicariously through their purchases. Dvf & Dior were some of my go to brands because they both are flattering fits. Lyst made it easy for me to go straight to each designer & find their latest pieces. They also have an option to follow your favorite designers so you don’t miss anything new.
Here is the second outfit from my Christmas Party Looks lyst. It’s more casual but still dressy enough for a fun night out.
Top by Guess – Drapery Top, on sale for £34 (such a bargain).
Jeans by Paige – Hoxton, £112.
Heels by Dior – Court, £284.
Coat by Patrizia Pepe – Black Coat, on sale for £93.
Necklace by Vivienne Westwood, £245.
Scarf by DKNY, on sale for £117.
Paige jeans are one of my all time favorite fitting jeans. Again, I can’t help myself with the Dior heels, they are so fab. I’m in love with this coat & it’s on sale along with the top.
Lyst has a huge range of designers, styles & prices to suit anyone. Their website is easy to navigate & make a wish lyst. Lyst makes shopping online easy & fun because all of your favorite designers & brands are together in one place. You can see what Dior shoes looks like with a Dvf dress.
Which look is your favorite? Do you have a new outfit for Christmas?
This is such a fun idea – like a personalised Pinterest board except you can shop it too! That Guess top is a bargain as well.
Wow those heels are high. I’d struggle to walk on those. I love that Guess top though. It’d be nice for dancing in.
The sparkly heels at the top are the perfect shoe for the festive season. I like the idea of it being personalized to your taste.
Oh Diane Von Fursternburg is one of my favourite designers and that lace dress is just stunning! LOVE those heels too but i’d never be able to walk in them lol xxx
Love the first look! Actually I love both but the dress is stunning and those shoes! Love them 🙂

I am loving both of these outfits, I have not heard of Lysts before but sounds awesome. Online shopping is getting better by the day.
wow, love the choices. I really wish I could wear heels like that. unfortunately for me since having the boys I’m in flats most of the time x Popping over from Mummy 2 Monkeys x
Sounds like a great website, sometimes you just don’t have time to trawl all the accessories etc when you’ve found the ‘dress’!! I must admit I have a real thing about heels at the moment and I am loving all of the ones you have chosen here. I’ve never brought Dior heels before but maybe looking in the Jan sales …. have a great Christmas xx
I’ll have to look at Paige jeans as I haven’t found a decent and flattering pair in a while. Pregnancy has changed me forever! I love that dvf dress/romper!
Love both of your chosen outfits. I think my fav is the jacket, jeans and heels from your second choice 🙂
Great idea and gorgeous choices – love the shoes and the necklace and the jacket – not sure I have the budget for them though! 🙂
This sounds like a great idea. I mainly do clothes shopping online these days (because shopping with three children is a form of torture!) so anything that makes it easier or more fun gets a big thumbs up from me. I love the second look, my going out go to is always skinny jeans, fab heels and a cute top.
The second look is sooo much like what I actually wore out last weekend. Only my look wasn’t designer 😉 Shopping online is so handy, you can’t beat it! x
you have fab taste Becky x love the black and pink shoes x
The shoes are lovely. I’ve never bought shoes that expensive lol but I wouldn’t mind reviewing them lol! It was nice to learn something new about you too! 🙂
I like both looks. Great taste lovely!! I guess depending on where are you heading I guess. The first one is more for a proper party and the second one is a little bit more casual but very chic!! The only thing is that they are all very expensive!! I couldn’t afford them atm, 🙁 but I guess we are all allowed to dream right? lol I’m all about online shopping now as it is so much easier when you have small kids!! xx
