May was quite the exciting month!! We had some gorgeous sunny days towards the end of the month & we took full advantage of the lovely weather to get out & about. We hit the beach, park, got ice creams & generally played outside. It was like being on holidays right at home. There really is nowhere quite as beautiful as the west of Ireland when the sun shines!
I’ve been struggling to get myself into a routine of exercise & diet. I completed the clean 9 detox in May. I’ve been mostly sticking to a low-calorie diet & have gotten back into exercising. And, I’ve been enjoying going for walks in this beautiful sunshine. The kids came with me for some of the walks. The scenery around our house is breathtaking.
I had an out of body experience when I found myself running down the road with two sheep at my heels. I came into the house & the words just flew out of my mind & onto the blog. You can read more about it in this post – picture this. It was one of those moments that made me realize how different my life is now in the west of Ireland from where I started in NY!

May went by like the blink of an eye – I can’t believe it’s June & we are only a few weeks away from the school summer holidays. I hope this beautiful sunny weather keeps on coming! The sun makes everyone happier & there are more adventures to be had!
