We are big fans of healthy eating in my house. We eat organic foods as much as possible & stick with whole foods with pure ingredients. Organix has been our snack of choice since my oldest was born. So we were quite excited to try out some snacks from Organix along with their brand new Pea Puffs savory finger food. Introducing my kiddies to finger foods when they were young was fun but could also be challenging. Food often ended up being thrown on the floor or spit out. All three of my kids were quite suspicious about new foods and two of them didn’t like eating meat so they were vegetarian for years.
If I could go back and give myself some advice it’d be to relax and not take it so seriously. Trying foods as a baby is all about enjoyment and learning. Even now for my 5-year-old, she refuses some things and loves others but we are still in the learning stage. I don’t think the food adventure stage ever ends!

Eating meals together was a big help in encouraging the kids to try new things. My daughter used to enjoy spoons of food from my plate more than the food on her own plate – even though it was the same food!
Introducing kids to food from the baby stage into toddler and children should be seen as an adventure! I think they enjoy the food more that way and it makes it less stressful for everyone involved.
Healthy Snacking with Organix
When we are out and about I pack pieces of cut fruit and some pre-packed snacks for the kiddies. Organix is my go-to snack of choice because of their simple, pure ingredients.
I love how easy it is to see what’s in their food – it’s listed out in an easy to read way. And there is only ever a few ingredients in their snacks, all of them organic and all of them good!

The Cheesy Pea Snaps & Cheese & Onion Lentil Hoops are suitable for toddlers and older. And the Pea Puffs are suitable for babies from 6 months of age and up. That being said, my 5, 8 & 11-year old enjoyed eating all three of them! The Lentil Hoops was their favourite.
